Last week we hit on Oklahoma, Stanford and Arkansas and missed on Michigan and Oklahoma State. The 3-2 record brings us to 31-17-2 on the season.

Penn State (+3) vs. Nebraska: Nebraska is beaten up physically. They don’t matchup well against a fearsome Penn State front. I think the scandal, the Paterno firing and everything that has gone on will rally the team under Tom Bradley. They come out with a point to prove and score just enough to win a close game.

Alabama (-17.5) at Mississippi State: The Crimson Tide have some frustration to vent. They have a very average opponent awaiting them. The one thing the Bulldogs do notably well is stop the pass. Alabama should be content running all over them.

Minnesota (+27) vs. Wisconsin: Two trends converge here. Bret Bielema’s Wisconsin teams routinely disappoint on the road. He has yet to beat Minnesota soundly. The Gophers upset Iowa and led Michigan State in the 4th quarter in East Lansing. Minnesota loses but with dignity.

Arkansas (-14.5) vs. Tennessee: Tennessee has no offense. The Volunteers have scored 28 points combined in their last four SEC games, starting what was their third-string quarterback. Alabama is the only team that has held Arkansas under 29 points. Woo pig sooie!

Auburn (+12) at Georgia: Georgia has won seven-straight, but they haven’t played anyone and they haven’t looked that impressive while playing them. Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Florida were within one score. They should beat Auburn, but I don’t see them getting the sixty minutes of consistency needed to put them away.
