The Pac-12′s New Trophy Is Quite Ladylike
College Football November 12th. 2011, 2:45pm
Remember this episode of Everybody Loves Raymond? Ray’s mother made a sculpture and it kind of looked like a vagina? Well this is the new Pac-12 trophy.
See, I like to imagine the same kind of awkward acknowledgement going on in the Pac-12 headquarters as one person after another finally realized what the new league trophy reminded people of. Just watch the episode.

For some reason I couldn’t follow ATL_Badger’s link to this thing earlier today. It’s magnificent.

With all the ridicule, it’s gonna be beefcurtains real soon for that trophy.
Of course, Big Ten still has “Legends” and “Leaders,” so maybe not.

Every time they turn around, Pam Ward is licking the football in a counter-clockwise motion.

Every time they turn around, Pam Ward is licking the football in a counter-clockwise motion.
Here is Pam Ward’s Wikipedia entry, in its entirety:
“Pam Ward is an on-air personality for the cable sports television network ESPN.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in communications.
Prior to ESPN, Ward worked as an anchor/host for WTEM between April 1992 and March 1995 and then WBAL between March 1995 and 1996.
In 2000, Ward became the first woman to perform play-by-play announcing for a NCAA football nationally televised game. Unfortunately, she’s terrible.”
The last line made me laugh.
