This is John Wall yesterday at Rupp Arena for the Kentucky-UNC game. An NBA player desperately seeking attention is certainly nothing new here, but being fashionably strange has always been one of my favorite things about The Association. With bizarre characters like Scot Pollard and Dennis Rodman long gone, somebody needs to latch onto the freak flag with spirited enthusiasm. Perhaps John Wall is that guy.

And I’ll take the pair of glasses we see here over played-out hipster glasses every day of the week and twice on Sunday, so yes, I’m doubled up as we speak.
