A Los Angeles Radio Host Thinks Dwight Howard Gets Traded to the Nets Today
Media Gossip/Musings, NBA December 20th. 2011, 12:10pm
Absolutely no idea of John Ireland of ESPN 710 radio is as plugged in as he claims – Lakers’ fans swear he’s got an impressive track record – but late Monday he went on record saying Dwight Howard was going to be dealt to the Nets today.
No mention of who else is involved in the trade, or why an LA radio host would know an Orlando center is getting traded to New Jersey.

John Ireland’s pretty good at his job, he always brings on the McConaughey guy from Two for the Money. Love me some gambling talk. As for this…yeah, I don’t know.

Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic
or why an LA radio host would know an Orlando center is getting traded to New Jersey.
Maybe he’s got sources within the Lakers who’ve told him that the Magic are saying “Thanks but no thanks on Bynum. He’s going to New Jersey.”

I had no idea who John Sutcliff of ESPN was either until last night.
Was Suzy Kolber busy or something?

come on, you know it’s going to take at least 2-3 attempts for the league to allow a trade like this to happen anyway.

Fwiw, Ireland use to be the Lakers sideline reporter, so I wouldn’t doubt him having sources. Not sure how reliable those sources are now that
