If you haven’t been paying attention to college hoops this season, NC State and Texas are, at best, NCAA bubble teams. How bad has the Pac-12 been? At this moment, it looks like a 1-bid league when it comes to the NCAA tournament.

Here’s how bad things are for the Pac-12: It doesn’t have a team in the top 45 of the RPI (highest: Arizona at 49). The Pac-12 is currently 0-10 against the RPI Top 25. The Pac-12 has one win (!) against the RPI Top 50, which is the same amount of wins the Ivy League has against the Top 50. The Missouri Valley has four, so does Conference USA, and the A-10 has eight.
