Jeremy Lin is the Fastest-Growing Athlete Brand in the World
Jeremy Lin, NBA February 13th. 2012, 6:43pm
New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has officially swiped the needle from Tim Tebow’s back pocket and given it an admirable launch across the galaxy.
According to Forbes magazine, Lin is already tied with Kobe Bryant as the sixth-most valuable athlete brand in the world, worth an estimated $14 million. And despite the MSG/Time Warner Cable mess, Knicks ratings are up 66% over last season. To top things off, Madison Square Garden’s stock has jumped up 6% since Feb. 4.
Owner James Dolan’s pockets and cheeks keep getting plumper while Linsanity rages on. As you were.
