ESPN Reports that Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin Both Went 9-for-20 in Their 5th Start and Scored the Game-Winner
Jeremy Lin, NBA, NFL, Tim Tebow February 15th. 2012, 11:21am
In Tim Tebow’s fifth start last season, he went 9-for-20 passing and scored the game-winning touchdown against the Jets. In Jeremy Lin’s fifth start this season, he shot 9-for-20 and sunk the game-winning three-pointer against the Raptors.
Until now, I wasn’t quite convinced that Tim Tebow is the Jeremy Lin of the NFL and Jeremy Lin is the Tim Tebow of the NBA, but now there’s no almost no way around it, especially since 9-for-20 from a quarterback is the exact same thing as 9-for-20 from a point guard.
Special thanks to ESPN for the confirmation.

But one plays football and one plays basketball, also one is right handed and one is left handed, one is caucasian — one is asian-american. Did they point out those differences?

Lin’s should count for more. He beat a sneaky tough team on the road.
Tebow just beat the Jets.

I don’t suppose they bothered to point out that the average completion percentage in the NFL is much higher than the average shooting percentage in the NBA . . . didn’t think so. Has Lin been linked to Lindsey Vonn yet?

Japanese tend to be conceited as hell about being Japanese and think being anything else is inferior. (but they do it in such a nice way).
China is still waiting on an apology from Japan for the whole Rape of Nanking thing.
Isn’t a major Chinese movie coming out about this? It’s like the most expensive movie filmed in China ever.
