Blake Griffin is Absolutely Going to Love Eric Bledsoe
NBA, Video February 19th. 2012, 11:55amThat’s Bledsoe, the 22-year-old from Kentucky, dropping a pass between his legs on the fast break to Blake Griffin for the thunderous dunk Saturday against the Spurs. Bledsoe’s only played in three games this season due to injury, but come May/June, he’s going to be pivotal with the injury to Chauncey Billups. I wasn’t sold on Bledsoe coming out of Kentucky (mostly because he never played* and it was tough to get a gauge of just how good he was), but he’s wildly athletic and a defensive pest.
The Clippers lost a tough one to the Spurs in overtime, 103-100. Chris Paul made a horrible mistake late that allowed the Spurs to send it to overtime, and then CP3 missed what would have been the game-tying shot in the final seconds. Not that anyone cares, but San Antonio has won 10 in a row.
* Yes, as Steven notes, Bledsoe played 30 minutes a game as a freshman. I’m floored by that number. It felt like considerably less since he was not a 1-2 or even No. 3 option on that loaded team.

Bledsoe started 35 of 37 games and averaged 30 mins a game at Kentucky.

Who was that on the call? Sounds like Dick Stockton but don’t think it is. “Slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam dunk” was just brutal.

They played together last year. He should have some idea about whether or not he loves him already

Dallas is rounding into shape. I wouldn’t mind a dallas-san antonio western conference finals. These two teams have a really good rivalry going. That 2006 western conference finals was such a good series.
