Florida Writer Claims LSU Cornerback Mo Claiborne Scored a Four on the Wonderlic Test
By Jason McIntyre
It appears as if this is the first high-profile Wonderlic score from this year’s draft class to leak out. Naturally it will be embarrassing to Claiborne. Last year, two other SEC athletes – AJ Green of Georgia and Patrick Peterson of LSU – also bombed the test (10 and 9, respectively). Green went on to have a terrific rookie year for the Bengals (65 catches, 1,057 yards, 7 TDs) and Peterson was arguably the most exciting rookie in the league who excelled on special teams (less so at cornerback, but he’ll be fine) for the Cardinals.
Claiborne will still go in the top 10. He’ll be a lockdown corner in a couple years. And the only time anyone will reference his Wonderlic test is to bash Pat Dooley and wonder who leaked this to him.
