2013 NFL Mock Draft: Pre-College Football Season Edition
By Jason McIntyre
11. Titans – Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State. Should have a monster season given the easy schedule and FSU’s strong front seven.
12. Jets – Eric Reid, S, LSU. I know they need offensive playmakers (and probably a QB). And Marcus Lattimore will be enticing since I don’t see them re-signing Shonn Greene. But Bell’s ancient and Landry is injury-prone.
13. Panthers – Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee. Steve Smith’s best years are behind him, and you’ve got to keep Cam Newton happy.
14. Buccaneers – Sean Porter, LB, Texas A&M. Weak linebacker class, but the Bucs’ biggest need on defense is in the middle.
15. Broncos – Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama. Would make a nice partner inside for Ty Warren.
21. Chiefs – Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee. Matt Cassel is the only thing holding the Chiefs back.
22. Saints – Shayne Skov, LB, Stanford.
23. Bills – Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor. The most surprising note here is that by drafting this low, it means the Bills will be in the – gasp! – playoffs.
24. 49ers – Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan. I’m going to toss Shoelaces in the first round of every mock draft this season, just so you’re aware.
