Cricket Fan Makes Incredible, Leaping, One-Handed Catch in the Stands While Carrying Iced Coffee and Two Hamburgers

Peter Spurling, a 16-year-old highly-touted Australian Football prospect, has made the best fan catch of 2013. Spurling is carrying iced coffee and hamburgers from the concession stand when the ball comes in his direction. He effortlessly leaps and plucks the ball out of the air like a pelican snagging a jumping fish. The announcer says Spurling is as “happy as a fat spider” and then jokes that he is on the phone with one of his “reptile mates,” which I can only assume is Australian for “fellow lizard people.” What a rich language.
