The NBA is Back Tonight, and Here's Kyrie Irving vs. Brandon Knight to Celebrate
By Michael Shamburger
The All-Star break is over, everyone got their best dunks out of their system, and the second half begins tonight with a solid NBA slate, highlighted by Boston at Denver and Golden State at Utah.
All are playoff teams, and three of them – Boston, Golden State and Utah – are rumored to be dealers with the trade deadline approaching.
Do the Celtics trade KG or Pierce? Or both? The slumping Warriors sure could use an experienced big man to help out perpetually-injured Andrew Bogut. Utah has a lot of expiring contracts, and could look to move a big-man (or two).
Atlanta’s Josh Smith, perhaps the most sought-after player this week (assuming the Lakers are holding firm on not trading Dwight Howard), could have his swan song in the ATL tomorrow against the Heat.
While you get excited for the games, here’s one of the highlights from All-Star weekend: Kyrie Irving and Brandon Knight going one-on-one for about two minutes in the Rising Stars Challenge Friday night.
