Yankee Stadium's Craft Beer Stand Is as Weak as the Team's Opening Day Lineup

New Yankee Stadium now has a “Craft Beer Destination.” The selection befits the stadium itself, artificial and mostly flavorless. Despite what the faux wood paneling would have you believe, none of the four are “craft beers.” All four belong to some form of MillerCoors subsidiary. “Beer” is also deployed loosely. Crispin is a cider. Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy is beer and lemonade. Blue Moon is a Belgian white beer served with fruit. The “heaviest” beer on tap, Batch 19, is a lager. [Photo via @amandarykoff]
