FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski Stands With Big Papi and Big Papi's F-Bomb

David Ortiz gave a speech at Fenway Park before Saturday’s game against the mighty Royals that included the words, “nobody gonna dictate our freedom.” It also happened to include an appropriately emphatic, “this is our fucking city.” Both emotional snippets would be impossible for any sane person to argue against, so much so that Julius Genachowski, chairman of the FCC, is fully aboard the f-bomb train. He gave his official stamp of approval on, where else, Twitter. The power of sports remains fascinating.

Genachowski also deserves a feverish round of applause for referring to Ortiz as Big Papi, rather than screw it up with something stupid, like Big Slurpee.
