Jalen Rose Leaving Numbers Never Lie, Jemele Hill in as New Co-Host

NNL started in September 2011 as a stats show, but after just nine months ESPN decided to scrap that format and turn it into an afternoon debate show. The initial host, Charissa Thompson, moved over to Sportsnation. (She has since left for Fox Sports.)
An ESPN spokesman did note that in its new 2 pm timeslot on ESPN2 – with First Take as a lead-in – ratings in two key demos (men 18-34 and men 18-49) for Numbers Never Lie were up year-to-year.
