Cleveland Cavaliers Take Anthony Bennett with the 1st Pick in the Draft
By Jason McIntyre
Anthony Bennett goes 1st in the draft to Cleveland! Wow! Talk about a shocker! Bennett, who had a great run at UNLV as a freshman before struggling in the NCAA tournament, figures to play small forward or power forward – he’s a tweener – for the Cavaliers.
This is a colossal surprise – well, except to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, who mentioned Bennett as a contender earlier this morning. Bennett has gained plenty of weight in recent weeks due to sitting out with an injury.
This completely shakes up the 2013 draft.
