Manchester United Players Choke Down Tomato Beverage for Japanese Commercial [Video]

This summer Manchester United is holding part of its annual preseason tour across the Far East. It included a stop in Japan, where the Red Devils suffered a shock 3-2 defeat to Yokohama F Marino on Tuesday. The trip apparently also included time for another time-honored tradition, collecting a nice fat paycheck for filming a Japanese television commercial.

Robin van Persie, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs and Shinji Kagawa looked absolutely thrilled to be sucking down some Kagome Tomato Juice for the cameras. (The over-the-top Tim & Eric-style slurping sound effects might be a tad unnecessary.)

As is the case with most things in life, the United players would have been well served looking to Bill Murray for some advice.
