By Michael Shamburger
Tiger Woods had a chance to break 60 for the first time in his career at the Bridgestone Invitational on Friday. After missing a putt for birdie on 17, Woods needed to Eagle the Par 4 18th. Instead he missed the fairway twice and left himself with a 15-foot putt from the fringe to save par. Tiger drained the putt and finished with a 61, tying the course record and his career low round. Tiger (-13) heads into the weekend with a 7 stroke lead on the field.
