Meghan Rutledge Crashed on the Final Lap at the X-Games After Premature Celebration [Video]

Meghan Rutledge, an 18-year old Australian, was leading the final lap of the Women’s Moto-X race at the X-Games this weekend when she decided to celebrate early. Rutledge threw a fist pump during a jump right before the final corner of the race. The X-Gods did not appreciate the act of hubris and Rutledge crashed when she landed. Vicki Golden took advantage of the crash and won her third straight gold in the event.
