WWE Star Chris Jericho and Greg "Hurricane" Helms were arrested at a gas station in Kentucky at 5 AM Wednesday morning for being "extremely intoxicated," and were both taken in for "alcohol intoxication in a public place." Not exactly stunning. Professional wrestlers hammered at a Gas 'n' Sip is hardly a new thing. The real reason for this post? At first glance, I thought Jericho's partner in crime was Blossom. UPDATE! Former Oklahoma Sooner and current useless defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears, Dusty Dvoracek was arrested yesterday after an altercation at Seven47, a bar in Norman.

According to witnesses, after being asked to leave the premises, Dvoracek reacted as only a brave weekend warrior could, and allegedly hit a member of the security team. Read the rest of this entry »

Former Nets' center Jayson Williams has new problems to worry about after he crashed his SUV into a tree in Manhattan early this morning. When police arrived at the scene Williams was sitting in the passenger seat (brilliant) and he refused a breathalyzer test. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The tree was pronounced D.O.A. (SI) (13)

Carlos Dunlap: Florida's hulking defensive end, a lock to play in the NFL, was charged with DUI last night in Gainesville. Cops found Dunlap - Defensive MVP of last year's National Championship game - asleep behind the wheel of his Chrysler at 3:25 am, stopped at an intersection. Jimmy Clausen Update: One Black Eye, Assailant Allegedly Shoved His Date

Here’s the latest version of the Clausen story, from the official ND source. According to a University source, Clausen was at C.J.’s Pub with friends, family and a “date.” A man shoved his date as he left the bar. Clausen pushed the man with “his hand landing in the neck area.” The guy punched him in the eye. They wrestled and then had the fight broken up. Deadspin has a couple different accounts. Clausen has one, not two black eyes as initially reported. Notre Dame will hope this disappears faster than Brady Quinn’s alleged homophobia. (South Bend Tribune)
