ESPN's College Basketball Flotilla: Jay Williams has been a staple in the ESPN studio over the last 72 hours, delivering hard-hitting college basketball analysis. (Our favorite moment: During the silly Joe Lunardi "hypothetical bracket" show, the host - some guy we're not familiar with - made a Duke crack and Williams kind of snapped back, "Stop it, stop with the Duke stuff, give it a break.") But Saturday night, as the first day of the 2nd round games is winding down, Williams won't be on air - he'll be guest-bartending near the Empire State Building in NYC with the girl who solely exists thanks to Brent Musburger, Jenn Sterger. The bar is Foley's; if you attend, drop us an email. [via] (20)
Game 7: Penguins-Caps tonight. 7 pm. There's no early NBA game, so even if you don't have Versus, you could at least take in the first period at a bar and be home in time for the 3-hour LOST season finale "event." Prediction? We've seen less than five minutes of hockey all season, but everyone loves uninformed predictions, so ... even though it's difficult to pick against Crosby, we'll go 3-2 Caps, in overtime. (Why the Wilbon photo? Well, he's at the Washington Post, and that's the Caps' paper of record ... and we couldn't find anything new-ish of Ovechkin and Crosby. Photo: Undated.) And lastly ... the NHL postseason ratings aren't that bad. (28)The Roundup: It’ll Be Tough to Avoid Manny Today

Here’s one of the Megan Fox Esquire photos … here are those NSFW photos of Cassie … skipping political duties to play hockey? Cool … if only more people would listen to Elizabeth Warren … a political twitter observation … Lance Armstong dumped Sheryl Crow a few years back due to her biological clock … pretty depressing story to start your Friday …

A feature on Jenn Sterger? Who assigned this? You know what came next – the obligatory gallery/slideshow, with mind-boggling photos like this one, and the one after the jump. When newspapers act like the blogs: Fail.
She’s big on the internet! Let’s do a story about her!
They’ll get a few clicks on the gallery, but at what cost? While Newsday and Hot 97 generate Jets’ scoops last week, the NYDN drops to its knees to tell readers about a non-entity named Jenn Sterger who is a “name” because she has implants. She owes Brent Musburger and a cameraman her entire career.
A coaching search is swirling and Brett Favre is pondering retirement. Gosh we hope Mushnick finds out about this. Read the rest of this entry »
Depressing news out of Jets camp, and it doesn’t even involve Brett Favre or an injury. It hurts too much to even type it. Days after we were leaping for joy when Gang Green brought a Hall of Fame QB on board … they went and hired somebody else. Cheese factor: High.
Let’s move past the obvious – she’s attractive and had a massive boob job – and say what really hurts: Isn’t this the move of a tacky, desperate franchise, like maybe Cincinnati or Detroit?
Jenn Sterger Set for ‘Sassy’ Jets Role (New York Jets.com)

Jenn Sterger, the busty co-ed made famous by Brent Musburger three years ago, and whose improbable rise to … whatever you want to call it … has included a stint at SI.com and a pictorial in Playboy (NSFW), made some surprisingly catty remarks about ESPN’s Erin Andrews last week on ESPN 1470 in Tampa. Maybe it’s an FSU-UF thing.
Sterger also seemed to take a swipe at the sartorial selection of the lovely Jill Arrington, said Derek Jeter isn’t her type, and seems to have her finger on the pulse of what the sports industry is looking for in women. Read the rest of this entry »

It seems unfathomable, but to recap: Alex Rodriguez, arguably the greatest hitter in baseball, and certainly the wealthiest, spends his late nights with a 49-year-old gap-toothed singer, and Peter Abraham, a Yankees beat writer (left) spent Monday at a bar with blogger Will Carroll, and one-time Playboy pin-up (NSFW) Jenn Sterger (the one with the jugs)? Only in New York, kids.
Haven’t talked about the former SI.com scribe in a minute, have we? Seems like she recently (?) sat down for a video interview with the Tallahassee Democrat and talked about … well, life. Do you want to know who didn’t pay for her chest? Watch the video. Want to know if she has the best seats everywhere she goes? Watch the video? Want to know if she’s had her heart broken? Watch the video. Nothing like some candor at the end of a long work week, huh?
