stephen a smith crazy twitterStephen A. Smith: He's writing again for the Philadelphia Inquirer. His first piece is on the 76ers. Presumably, he flew down from Miami Friday to watch their game against the Hornets, hence the dateline. Then, he flew back to Miami in time to offer up perhaps the most self-serving media tweet of 2010. [Inky] (18)

NBA, Reality Television, Twitter 204 Comments »

Bad Girls Club is a huge guilty pleasure show that my girlfriend got me into a few years ago. Yes, it airs on Oxygen and I’m sure most of the readers have no idea where to even locate that channel on their cable. Yes, that’s the channel Oprah started. Who cares. Gilbert Arenas: More details continue to emerge in the Gilbert Arenas gun incident that hasn't quite been able to break through as a massive news story (thanks to Mike Leach, New Year's Eve, bowl games, and the culmination of the NFL season. The card game Arenas lost was called "bouree." Arenas and Javaris Crittenton were reportedly both losing to JaVale McGee, but then Arenas bailed. "Crittenton was left to pay the pot, much to his displeasure, so he was trying earnestly to get Arenas to pay his part. Tempers flared during this dispute and I'm told Crittenton wanted to fight Arenas for backing out of paying up. Arenas, meanwhile, said he would burn Crittenton's car, and Crittenton said he would shoot Arenas in his bad left knee." Also, Arenas left the twitter reservation again. [Woj] (48)
