NFL Snoozer: Another Roethlisberger Comeback and Plenty of Collinsworth Hyperbole

big benWe started taking notes last night, and thought about turning this into a running diary of sorts … but then we kept switching back to the thrilling Georgia Tech-Clemson game, and aborted the initial plan. Brief fantasy word: Willie Parker’s 13 carries for 19 yards doesn’t worry us in the least. Owners who have had Parker for a couple years know that he is prone to shriveling up against good defenses (especially Baltimore). He gets happy feet, and for whatever reason, Tomlin runs him into the middle – clearly not his strength. After another stinker next week against Chicago, expect a 4-week tear. “Show Me Your V” is actually a new ad campaign for a television station. (No, it’s not from the most recent episode of Bromance.) It’s the home of Bull Riding, the National Hockey League and the Tour de France that wants to see your “V.”
