Why Didn't Joe Girardi Start AJ Burnett in Game 3?

As unsettling as the pitching situation is, the Yankees bats have been ineffective through three games. They’ve had one productive inning out of 27. Tex is 0-for-11. Nick Swisher is 1-for-11. A-Rod is 2-for-13. The team that was 8th in hitting, 3rd in homers, and 1st in OBP this season can’t hit, hit for power, or get on base.
Where’s Aaron Boone when you need him? That was seven years and three days ago.
We’d settle for Mel Hall or Luis Polonia. Then again, could those guys have touched Lee, who is 7-0 with a 1.26 ERA in eight career postseason starts? The man has 67ks in 64 1/3 innings. He’s allowed nine earned runs in those eight starts.
