While those two drew swords, Carmelo Anthony sat down for a Q&A with the New York Post. Not sure I ever knew of this conversation between him and Jim Boeheim:

"“After we won the championship, he called me in his office after we had the parade and all that stuff. He was like, ‘Uh, whatchu thinking?’ I was like, ‘Whatchu mean? About the NBA?’ He was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘I haven’t thought about it, that’s not even on my mind right now.’ So he was like, ‘Could I give you some advice?’ I was like, ‘What?’ (Laughs). He was like, ‘Pack this (bleep) and get out.'”"

If Boeheim is always this straight to the point with his players, I can see why they enjoy playing for him. Also, ‘Melo’s favorite movie is Harlem Knights. Safe to say it has everything to do with this scene:
