Four Rice Football Players Arrested In Last Week

Kevin Gaddis and Phillip Gaines were arrested on Monday. Gaddis was charged with two misdemeanors, theft and possession of two ounces or less of marijuana. Gaines was also arrested on misdemeanor marijuana possession.

We are aware of the allegations. We take these seriously,” Rice athletic director Rick Greenspan said. “Obviously, we have some investigations to do, both with the campus and off-campus (authorities), and when we have more information we’ll share it.”
