"The Knicks’ 6’10” power forward has struck a deal to launch his own Web site at Big Lead Sports.com, The Post has learned. The 28-year-old all-star will focus his site on sports and fashion. Stoudemire is expected to provide exclusive content for Big Lead, which was formed as a sports blog nearly five years ago, in exchange for a revenue-sharing agreement and small equity stake in the company."

Radical. I plan on playing Amare 1-on-1 at some point – I’ll do better than Bow Wow did against Kobe, that’s for sure – and videotaping it. If he’s fearful that I might embarrass him like that one dude did to Devin Harris, then I’ll settle for a game of HORSE.

What does this mean for our coverage of Amare and the Knicks?

Of course we’ll still be critical of Amare and the Knicks when necessary (for what it’s worth, when most pundits were saying New York overpaid for him last summer, I was one of the voices saying it was a smart move). I’ve been a Knicks’ fan since about 1985-1986 (Ewing’s rookie year), so I follow the team closely and yes, when they make silly draft choices, I’ll call them on it.
