ESPN Doesn't Want Paul Azinger Tweeting About President Obama

On Friday ESPN reminded Azinger that tweets like that violate ESPN’s new social media policy. From USA Today:

“Paul’s tweet was not consistent with our social media policy, and he has been reminded that political commentary is best left to those in that field,” spokesman Andy Hall told Game On! in a statement.

ESPN says they will handle Azinger’s punishment internally which probably means there is no telling what fresh Hell he may face. An afternoon as Chris Berman’s personal sweat moper? Two days checking Colin Cowherd’s mail for anthrax? A week working on athlete re-racification photoshops? 10 minutes in a Grantland staff meeting? That poor bastard.
