Jon Jones and Rampage Jackson Talk It Out With Dr. Phil On Jimmy Kimmel Live

On Saturday night, during UFC Fight Night Live For The King of New Orleans, Joe Rogan interviewed light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones and his opponent this Saturday, former light heavyweight champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. I noted this weekend that Jones and Rampage both seemed flustered and annoyed with each other. If you asked me on Sunday, the idea of putting them in a room together before weigh-ins on Friday would have been absurd.

But there they were on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, sharing a couch with Dr. Phil. While they still don’t seem to really like each other, but with Kimmel moderating and Dr. Phil encouraging confrontation the rivalry was taken to amusing new levels. it’s nice that they can find humor in what each other says and still respect the fact that they want to destroy each other. I can’t wait for this fight.
