Now This Is A Staredown

Here’s a staredown between Tomasz Narkun and Saparbek Safarov before tonight’s M-1 Challenge 28 event in Russia. The staredown starts innocently and then builds with some posturing as both guys try to get their opponent to flinch. Contact follows and eventually some full contact slap fighting. Amazingly, both guys back away like two kittens who just scared each other. How did this not turn into a brawl? I’d say it was staged to drum up interest in the event if I thought that was possible.
