After we saw Andrei Kirilenko get his face busted up and concussed in Russia and J.R. Smith hurt his knee in China in the same weekend, I was starting to wonder if this whole “playing overseas during the lockout” thing was really worth it. While there is a risk, it certainly seems worth it for Deron Williams, who put up 50 points against Göttingen Tuesday. According to the YouTube description, Williams finished with 50 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. One assist for a guy who has averaged 9.2 dimes in the NBA over the past 6 seasons?
