Gary Carter's Condition Has Worsened With the Discovery of New Tumors

“(The doctor) told my mom that there are now several new spots/tumors on my dad’s brain,” Carter’s daughter, Kimmy Bloemers, wrote. “I write these words with tears because I am so sad for my dad.”

Carter’s doctors were expected to meet with the family at their home yesterday to discuss next steps.

Despite his increasingly weakened condition, “The Kid” still managed to attend the banquet for his annual golf tournament this past Sunday, thanking everyone for their unwavering support, and stating he just wants to feel better.

I sincerely hope he does. My thoughts and prayers go out to Gary Carter and his family.
