Novak Djokovic topped Rafael Nadal in a classic 5-set Australian Open final, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 7-5, and then proceeded to rip off his shirt, Hulk Hogan-style, in celebration. Djokovic, whose 2011 tennis year (70-6, 25-1 in the Grand Slams) was perhaps the most dominant in the history of the sport, has overtaken Roger Federer and Nadal as the greatest player on the planet.

It took him 5 hours and 53 minutes to dispatch Nadal, who has now lost three straight Grand Slam finals to Djokovic. The Serbian, who throughout the tournament was cheered on by Vlade Divac, has won four of the last five Grand Slams.

When Djokovic was 7, he said he wanted to be a Champion. Mission accomplished, kid.
