2012 NCAA Tournament Field of 68 Prediction

The field has essentially be whittled down to 7-8 teams, as Jason Lisk has been chronicling all week. The St. Bonaventure victory over Xavier in the A-10 title game is enormous, because it boots an at-large team. I feel that team was Iona or Washington.

My last six in: BYU, Xavier, Seton Hall, NC State, Marshall, South Florida, Drexel

My last five out: Iona, Miami, Washington, Northwestern, Mississippi St., Marshall.

[UPDATE: I left Ohio out of the field, so as a result, pulled Marshall.]

Here’s Lisk’s list from Saturday – I’m not projecting these seeds, just who is in the field of 68:

Kentucky, Syracuse, Kansas, North Carolina
Missouri, Duke, Michigan State, Ohio State
Baylor, Michigan, Indiana, Marquette
Wisconsin, Georgetown, Louisville, Wichita State
