Knight has a lengthy history of animosity toward Kentucky and John Calipari. In December of 2009, he called out Calipari as an example of lack of integrity in college basketball. “You see we’ve got a coach at Kentucky who put two schools on probation, and he’s still coaching. I really don’t understand that.”

Then, last April, he incorrectly said that Kentucky had played five players who did not go to class that semester in the NCAA tournament, and issued a half-hearted apology.

Now, he won’t even acknowledge them, but he sure would like to see them lose, err, thinks as an unbiased analyst that they are the most vulnerable #1 seed.
