Anthony Davis had quite a first half against Louisville: 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 19 minutes. Plus, this dunk. Kentucky’s up at halftime 35-27, but it feels closer than that.
Worth noting: Kentucky led 16-6 after six minutes when energetic do-it-all lottery pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist picked up his second foul. In 14 minutes without him, they only scored 19 points. MKG only had two rebounds and two turnovers, but his perimeter defense sets the tone for the Wildcats. [vid via Intern Mike]
