What’s most puzzling here is that you’ve got an entire team fighting against three players. Where’s the rest of the opposing team? Further details from the Sacramento Bee:

"“The Bee has learned that the Yuba City JV team suspended play for the remainder of the week and that there could be as many as six Yuba City players suspended. Some could also face expulsion.”"

And a few more details from Advarsity Sports:

"the melee occurred in the sixth inning after the Del Campo first base coach made comments to the Yuba City dugout and pitcher Jaylon Deas. Deas then turned and threw the ball from the mound at the coach. The ball missed the coach, but Deas charged the coach and benches cleared."

Stay classy, Yuba City JV.
