Caleb King Released by Vikings Three Days After Alleged Violent Birthday Party Assault

According to police, the man who was beaten – requiring 50 stitches – kept comparing King to a celebrity at the party, and King didn’t like it. That celebrity? Eddie Murphy. By no means am I defending King here, but what prompts someone to joke around with a rocked up, 5-foot-11, 210-pound NFL running back? Also, based on this mug shot, I don’t really think King looks like Murphy.
Anyway, three days after the incident … the Vikings cut King.
