NHL – Jonathan Quick (Goalie/Los Angeles Kings) – The Kings are a win away from bringing the Stanley Cup back to Los Angeles and it is all because of the net minding of Quick, who totaled 91 saves so far in the series against the Devils. He has only allowed 4 goals against the Eastern Conference Champions over the four contests and is the primary reason for Los Angeles’ unprecedented run through the NHL playoffs. The phenomenal road record of the Kings this year can be attributed to Quick’s play between the pipes and you should expect more of the same in Game 5.

MLB – Bryce Harper (Outfielder/Washington Nationals) – The 19-year old phenom went 2 for 7 against the Mets on Tuesday night and won the game with a walk off single. The Nationals are back in First Place in their division and owe a lot of their success to Harper’s gritty, old-school play. Earlier in the week he went 2 for 3 versus the Braves with a homerun off of Tommy Hanson as he continues to prove that he is ready for MLB pitching. From his trademark sprint around the bases after a long ball to his tremendous defense, this kid is as fun to watch as any player in recent memory. If you get a chance to see Bryce Harper play, don’t pass it up.

NBA – Kevin Garnett (Power Forward/Boston Celtics) – Don’t tell Kevin Garnett that he’s too old or that he has lost a step. Because he will burn you just like he has the Miami Heat this week. The Celtics have won three games in a row behind Garnett’s motivated play (22.3 PPG/12 RPG) and officially have the Heat on the brink of elimination. Expect another tremendous effort from KG on Thursday night as Boston returns home to close out the series.
