James Harden, Andre Iguodala Get Final Two Spots on USA Basketball Olympic Team

Davis, who sprained his ankle recently, perhaps hurting his chances, was one of the last players cut from the 12-man squad, along with Eric Gordon and Rudy Gay. Team USA could have used a big man – Tyson Chandler is the only true center on the roster; Blake Griffin and Kevin Love the only real power forwards (though LeBron and perhaps Carmelo Anthony could slip into that role) – so everyone will have to wait until late Oct/early Nov to see the highly-anticipated Davis debut.
