Seattle Seahawks Win! Joint Possession Catch in End Zone

Seattle won a bizarre, at times infuriating game. Russell Wilson had one last chance at the end of the game, trailing by 5. He heaved it to the corner. Golden Tate got away with OPI, and then got his hands in to get joint possession. It should have been called a touchdown as long as the receiver has his hands on the ball, which he did until touchdown was signaled. Correct call on a night of plenty of bad ones.

Here is the photo of the exact moment that the ball arrives. Looks like simultaneous catch to me. Tate’s hands and Jennings’ hands are both on the ball.
