Drew Storen Dejectedly Staring at Nothing is Beyond Depressing

The Washington Nationals came within one strike of sending the pesky St. Louis Cardinals home and advancing to the NLCS to face the Giants. In fact, Nats closer Drew Storen had five different, two-strike, two-out counts in the ninth inning. They were literally within a pube strand of closing the deal, but it never happened. The above photo of a mentally vacant Storen deftly illustrates the shock and colossal disappointment. The empty cart in front of him says it all.
