Michael Vick on His Brother's Tweets: 'I'm going to have to address that'

Michael Vick was sacked seven times by the Saints in a crushing 28-13 defeat on Monday Night Football. It was the Eagles’ fourth straight loss. With 133 points through eight games, Philadelphia has the lowest point total in the NFC. That is tied for 2nd worst in the NFL with Kansas City (Jacksonville is last at 117).

That obviously reflects on Vick, who has been a turnover machine (nine interceptions, five fumbles) and inaccurate (58.3 % completions, which places him near the bottom of the league with rookies or young QBs).

It would be remiss of us to forget the offensive line, which has been an unmitigated disaster. Marcus Vick, Michael’s brother, had plenty to say about the porous line last night during a twitter barrage.

When asked about his brother’s comments after the loss, the Eagles’ QB had this to say:

"“That’s something I’m really going to have to address once I leave here,” Vick said. “We’re out there fighting as hard as we can, giving it everything we’ve got, and that’s certainly not the case. I love each and every guy in that locker room, and if I could make every play right I would. I know they would do the same, so that’s certainly not the case.”"

Andy Reid has named Vick the starter for Sunday’s loser-is-done clash with the Cowboys. [CSN Philly]
