I’m quite confident they’ll spend that extra 100m they have between now and March, and spend it more wisely than the Blue Jays have. I’ll wait till then to hypothesize on the projected AL East standings.

I’d be pretty shocked if the O’s can do next year what they did this year. I would guess they’ll be right around .500 next year and then be legitimately good in 2014. They had a lot of things break just right in 2012

Melky should fit nicely into the #2 spot ahead of Reyes and behind Bautista/Encarnacion. Only real deficient spot in the Jays lineup is wherever Lind plays now. East will be a fun race in 2013.
