GSP will take on Carlos Condit who won three of his last four fights by KO or TKO. You’ve probably heard this before, but… CARLOS CONDIT IS A DANGEROUS FIGHT FOR GSP. Seriously though, Condit is a dangerous guy who could mess up everything by continuing to be awesome tonight.

Take a look at the next to last fight of the evening. Johny Hendricks will forever be the man who knocked out Jon Fitch. For that, we are all grateful. Martin Kampmann has won three straight. Man, whoever wins this fight could be in line for a title shot, you know? At least they would be if Anderson Silva wasn’t going to be sitting cageside tonight waiting for GSP to win so the UFC can announce a superfight. I would say that a Carlos Condit win would earn one of these guys a title shot, but that’s not right either. After so long at the top of the division, we would be looking at an immediate rematch. GSP could become the next Frankie Edgar! Um… WAR GSP!

This is Tom Lawlor paying tribute to The Shockmaster at last night’s weigh-ins. I had no idea what this is, but dammit if that isn’t a solid, obscure reference. Tom Lawlor always keeps it interesting. Also of note: Nick Ring was pulled from his fight today because of some super virus. Good thing there are so many damn fights scheduled for one card.
