Golden State 115, LA Clippers 94: The 17-game win streak has long been forgotten now that the Paper Clips have been blown out two nights in a row. Blake Griffin show 2-of-11 and was mocked by the Warriors bench. In just 13 minutes, Willie Green was such a liability (2-for-10), that he was -26. My Warriors are 22-10, winners of four straight. Time to point down a few shekels on the Warriors to win the West? Stephen Curry: 6-of-8 from deep, 31 points, and David Lee put up 24 points and collected 13 rebounds.
Houston 104, New Orleans 92: Jeremy Lin had seven dimes, and this was the prettiest. James Harden scored 31 points and is 5th in the NBA in scoring (26.3). If you’re charting Austin Rivers, and you shouldn’t be, he was 1-of-5 from the field, and 1-of-6 from the line. The 20-year-old rookie is having a dreadful year. Oh, and Duke is No. 1 in the country. So there’s that.
Sacramento 97, Cleveland 94: Watch DeMarcus Cousins (18 points, 16 rebounds) pick Kyrie Irving, then fumble the ball in the open court.
Brooklyn 110, Oklahoma City 93: Very surprising triumph on the road for the Nets, who got 25 points from Brook Lopez, 13 assists from Deron Williams, and 33 points from Joe Johnson. Lopez dunked on Ibaka, who is tied for the league lead in blocked shots (3.0 per game, same as Larry Sanders). Kevin Durant scored 26 points but was ejected for the first time in his career.
