Marcus Lewis of Eastern Kentucky Had the Most Thunderous Dunk You Probably Haven't Seen

While Indiana’s Victor Oladpio put on a show Saturday night, and NC State’s Rodney Purvis showed off his athleticism against Miami, a little-known player named Marcus Lewis of Eastern Kentucky climbed an imaginary ladder in the lane and looked like some kind of skywalker against Southeast Missouri.

It really is too bad Lewis couldn’t have saved this for his home arena, because the crowd explosion – instead of just eight guys on the bench waving towels – would have made this an instant classic. Instead, Lewis will just have to settle for being a 6-foot-4 leaping machine who won a dunk contest in high school and had perhaps the best road dunk in college basketball since Jerry Stackhouse went HAM on Duke in Cameron Indoor.
