Mike Florio appeared on The Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM Sports Radio in Florida this morning to talk about the NFL Draft. Like most draft-related conversations these days, the topic quickly turned to Manti Te’o and his sexuality. Pro Football Talk’s Florio was surprised to find out that would be such a big topic this week and is optimistic that the climate will change in NFL locker rooms to the point where players can be openly gay.

Florio makes some salient points about teams having to change the culture in the locker room, but around the 2:25 mark in the video, he decides to use coal mines as his example of a post-homophobic Utopian workplace. Okay. Maybe Zoolander did it. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
