Terrell Sinkfield is a wide receiver who played at Northern Iowa, and is from Minneapolis. He participated in the Pro Day at the University of Minnesota, and clocked a 4.19 in the second attempt at a 40-yard dash, according to Fox Sports North’s Tyler Mason. That came after a 4.27 on the first run. Officials requested that he run it again, and on the third attempt he stumbled and only finished with a 4.41. We have seen the unofficial times get adjusted at a bigger event like the NFL Combine, so I think the actual number has to be viewed with some skepticism, particularly when it is faster than anyone who has participated in the Combine.

Sinkfield did not attend the combine, and had 43 receptions last year for the FCS’ Northern Iowa Panthers. While the time itself may be questionable, he will likely get on the radar for teams to look back over his tape in more detail. Of course, they will also see this arrest from last year when they look as well.
