The Florida Gulf Coast University Mascot Gets Cheerleaders Too

Florida Gulf Coast University is the official Cinderella of the 2013 NCAA Tournament. The first 15-seed to ever advance to the Sweet 16, FGCU has captured our hearts with an exciting brand of basketball and some colorful personalities. The experience has been further enhanced by the fact that almost no one had ever heard of the school before two weeks ago. After the Eagles 81-71 win over San Diego State Sunday, one cheerleader hopped on the FGCU mascot. Do you think the Western Kentucky mascot gets girls? I doubt it.

Before we get too impressed with the mascot pulling a cheerleader, let’s remember this is FGCU. I assume a cheerleader comes in the mail with every acceptance letter.
